Reposting🥰 The flyer has been updated. This is a wonderful opportunity to see a Creative Aging for Lifelong Learning class in action & have a snack😉🥰

An eagle-eyed student saw that I had the wrong date in the graphic and gave me a heads up. I updated it, but just in case I am also posting it fresh a second time.... and the date of our event is really June 14.

We are having a little party this coming Sunday, and you are invited to join us! We are celebrating the students who took part in the two watercolor sketching classes this spring, part of Wardensville's Creative Aging for Lifelong Learning (CALL) grant project. Students will gather, show off their sketchbooks, spend some time drawing and painting, and you are welcome to join us and join in. We'll also have some art-related door prizes and serve light refreshments. And kids and adults can make watercolor bookmarks, too.

Join us from 6 to 8:30 pm on Sunday, June 14, at the Wardensville Visitor Center (Council Chamber side of the building).

The CALL grant program is presented with financial assistance from the Arts Office of the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts, and the Town of Wardensville.

Park Update. This is a picture of the sign that will be installed around the park. We have received calls about some owners not having their dog on a leash while at the the park & a couple of dogs being in the tennis/pickleball area. One caller explained that their child had been bitten by a dog (not at our park) but how seeing a dog running free created fear in the child. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Two different views of the rocks that were removed from the casing for our new back-up well. The drilling for well 5 has been a bit of a challenge due to the hardness of the stone we have been drilling thru. These stones dolomite. Our drillers will be back at it once they receive their new drill bit.
The stones were removed using 2 compressors & water.
