As temperatures rise, it’s important to know the signs of heat-related illness. Heat exhaustion can cause pale skin, nausea, headache, and tiredness. If not treated, it can lead to heat stroke, which is very serious. Signs of heat stroke include dry skin, high fever, fast heartbeat, and confusion.

Avoid heat-related illnesses by drinking plenty of fluids, wearing lightweight clothing, taking rest periods in shaded or cool areas, and avoid spending large amounts of time outdoors on hot, humid days.
