Venturing CREW 577 North Bellmore, NY Venturing Crew 577 is a co-ed adventure scouting group open to youth aged 14-20 and adults. Venturing Crew 577 is a co-ed adventure scouting unit.

We participate in local and out of state trips that can range from a tour of NYC to zip lining in West VA to hiking and repelling in Yellowstone National Park ! Our scouting youth range in age from 14-20 and come from all over Nassau County. We have scouts with dual membership in both BSA and GSUSA and youth with no scouting background what so ever, but who love adventure, travel and good fun. Our

adult volunteers are also co-ed, BSA trained and come from a variety of backgrounds in and out of scouting as well. We are here for the scouts and to help them make their Crew the best it can be ! We're not all about the trips. We are active in community service in many ways. We also enjoy the bonds and friendships we've share at several gatherings each year besides our bi-weekly meetings. Venturing Crew 577 has officers in VOA (Venturing Officers Association) and we've participated in and helped planned the North East Area 2 Apex weekends. We've been to the National Jamboree in West VA as well as Venturingfest. We are a diverse group that welcomes everyone who enjoys scouting and adventure !
