Big Foot Union High School District Small School ~ Big Opportunities Big Foot High School (BFHS) is located in South Central Walworth County in the Village of Walworth, Wisconsin.

A union high school, BFHS operates as a grade 9-12 district with students coming from four K-8 districts. The BFHS union district serves families from the villages of Fontana, Sharon and Walworth; and the townships of Walworth, Delavan, Linn and Sharon. An area schools association exists to assist BFHS and the K-8 schools of Fontana, Walworth, Reek, and Sharon with curriculum coordination and othe

Through diversified experiences, our students discover their potential, achieve readiness for college and careers, and succeed in a safe and caring environment. Vision
The vision of Big Foot High School is to maximize each child's learning and develop responsible, productive citizens. Our average enrollment of 520 provides the distinct advantage of individualized attention. Typical class sizes are 20 or less. Student-teacher and student-computer ratios far surpass state standards. This allows the district to provide the facilities and opportunities of schools more than twice the size. And, as a result, students consistently excel in academics, athletics and co-curricular activities.

You often see the singing clips… but what happens in between those moments?

MUSIC THEORY! 🥳

After being introduced to two new songs for their upcoming concert, Treble Choir students got their pencils and put their music theory skills to work!

Some students revisited concepts they learned the year before, while others began exploring them for the very first time.

Building music literacy helps students become more independent musicians. The more they understand about rhythm, notes, key signatures, dynamics, musical symbols, and all those little details on the page, the more confidently they can approach new music!

Can’t wait to get Minor Details and Chorale started tomorrow!
