The WVHS Quest program visited the University of Oregon to tour Hayward Field and the Bowerman Sports Science Center. While there, the students and advisors met up with Bearcat Alumni Justin McIntyre and Lyndsey Krummen.

The annual WVHS Alumni Association banquet was a success, filled with great memories, proud moments, and plenty of Bearcat pride. Here are a few of the highlights from a truly special night:

🤝 Welcoming New Leadership: We had the pleasure of meeting and hearing from our incoming Superintendent Dr. Dylan Smith. We are excited for the future of our schools under his leadership!

🏆 Hall of Fame Inductions: A huge congratulations to this year’s well-deserved Hall of Fame inductees, Blevins Bowlin and Mrs. Evelyn Hance. Thank you both for your incredible contributions and the lasting legacy you've left on our school.

🎓 Supporting the Future: We were honored to present alumni scholarships to three outstanding recent graduates as they take their next steps:

The 2026 WVHS Quest Program students will present their research on Tuesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 3, before their travel to Portland, Oregon.

Our community is invited to attend and enjoy the presentations in the WVHS/MS Library from 8:00 am-12:30 pm both days. Audience members are welcome to come and go as needed in between presentations. ✈️🐾
