Waltham seniors! Are you thinking about staying in your home and aging in place? Do you have a parent or relative who wants to stay at home but may need a little assistance? City of Waltham Council on Aging & Senior Center is hosting an "Age in Place Resource Fair", Friday, October 3rd from 1-3pm!

Come join more than 25 agencies & vendors, as they provide information & services which will help you age in place. Speak with representatives and experts about everything from health, nutrition and wellness.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻? 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘! The Repair Cafe will be open from 11am-3pm at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation.

Anyone from the community will be able to come in with a broken item (lamps, appliances, electronics, etc), and volunteers will attempt to repair the item, 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦. Donations and tips will be accepted, but not required or expected. No reservations required.

PLEASE SHARE! The Waltham Senior Center is offering a trip to the Big E Fair in Springfield, on Wednesday, September 25th for only $16 per person! Through the help of grant money, ticket price includes round trip transportation aboard a coach bus with a bathroom.

The bus will depart from Sacred Heart parking lot (311 River Street) at 7:45am on Sept. 25th, and will be due to return home ~7pm. The Big E has lots to explore, offering a variety of food, entertainment, games, vendors, and more: https://www.thebige.com/
