Muralfest Call for Artists is up!

We are so excited to announce that applications are open for FAROUT Murals 2026! Come join us in beautifying the lovely small town of Walsenburg, Colorado. We have funding for 6+ murals thanks to the wonderful Spanish Peaks Community Foundation and San Isabel Electric Association. The event will take place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 21-24) and an $800 honorarium and room and board will be provided to participating artists.

The timeline for this project is unusually short! Please get your applications by midnight on April 15th!

This year our Huerfano Gives 12 Days of Giving raised $24,253 for our local nonprofits, surpassing the total raised of the last three years! We are beyond grateful for the support shown by the people of this community. Happy Holidays everyone, we will see you next year🥳

Some teasers from the Legends Gala on Friday! Thank you so much to everyone that came out to support your local nonprofits! As of right now, we have raised $20,047 during the 12 Days of Giving. At least $5,430 of that was raised as a part of this event!

We've already past last year's $17,685, if we can raise $263 more by midnight we will pass 2023's total as well! Can you help us get there?
