Nature Walk-and-Talk Hike at Adams Farm

(Rain date Sunday, June 21)

COME join us for a FREE guided nature hike led by local naturalist Brian Cassie focusing on looking at and listening for wildlife and plant life.



MEET in the pavilion at Adams Farm.



WEAR comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. Binoculars will also come in handy, especially for spotting the birds.



TERRAIN: mostly level paths



DURATION: 2 hours

FREE Guided Nature Walk

On Saturday, April 25, local naturalist Brian Cassie will lead the second of four FREE Nature Walk-n-Talk hikes at Adams Farm, 999 North Street in Walpole. The guided walk sponsored by the Friends of Adams Farm will focus on looking at and listening for wildlife and plant life. We’ll meet in the pavilion for the walk that will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Rain date, if needed, will be on Sunday, the day after the scheduled walk.

The walk will be on level ground and move at a leisurely pace. Please do not expect a long and/or quick exercise walk as part of this program. Instead, look forward to discovering birds, trees, wildflowers, insects, and a few mammals and amphibians. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle and binoculars if you have them.

The remaining Nature Walk-n-Talk hikes at Adams Farm will take place on May 23 and June 20.

Time for a rules reminder it seems. For visits to Adams Farm, leave the farm in better shape that you arrived. Pick up trash and you know what with your dog. ALSO no cutting trees and making them into forts. The Walpole Police are aware. This is a public property. Phew. That's a pleasant reminder. Enjoy Adams Farm everyday.
