PA law requires everyone under the age of 12 to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle.

But, just like a seat belt protects you in a vehicle, a helmet protects you while bicycling.

Don’t skip that life-saving piece of equipment. No matter your age – always wear a helmet.

Lehigh Township Police through the Lehigh Township Police Traffic Safety Program conducted a sobriety Checkpoint on August 30 into August 31st in the area of Lehigh Dr and SR 873. 6 DUI drugs and 2 DUI Alcohol were removed from the roadways before these drivers entered into Lehigh Township.

We will be conducting another Checkpoint in September.

Barbecuing? 🥩 Swimming? 💦 Drinks? 🍻 Just have a plan in place for a safe ride home. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over 🚨🚔
