🔴🔴With broken hearts, the Walnut Fire Department family would like to take a minute of your time to extend an invitation to the community for the funeral procession honoring WFD-9, Randle Hall.

Randle served as a faithful Fire Fighter and EMT in our department beginning in 1986….40 years!

- Randles final procession will leave McBrides Funeral Home around noon Tomorrow, Sunday May 17th, travel 15 north to Walnut Fire Department. The procession will turn down Main Street and turn back to Hwy 15 in front of Duncans. It will then proceed underneath a draped flag (TEPA) to Hwy 72 east and on to Campground Church. There will be family, friends, EMS, LEO’s and multiple surrounding Fire Departments helping us honor our brother. We humbly ask for you to join. If you are able, we ask for you to rally somewhere along this path, to quietly show your respects to a man that has dedicated his life to helping others. I promise this will be a humbling sight to experience.

🔴🔴🔴 In closing, we also ask for your patience as there will be slow traffic even brief road closures to allow the procession to pass. 🔴🔴🔴

Today we lost a true servant. Randle Hall, a longtime member of the Walnut Fire Department passed away. For decades, Randle has served Walnut as a firefighter and EMT. He was a kind, reliable, and vital part of our department. I’m glad to have been able to call Randle a friend. On behalf of all of us at the Walnut Fire Department, we’re keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers and will always be grateful for his service. We will surely miss you.
-Brandon Wilbanks, Fire Chief
