The Walnut Firehouse 5K Walk/Run will be on October 10th at 8:30 AM! This should be a lot of fun and another great local race to come out and support!

We also plan to have an auction during the event, if we are able to get enough items donated.

We’re expecting significantly lower food supplies at our upcoming pantries, approximately half of what we typically receive. For the next few weeks, we kindly ask that those facing the greatest need prioritize attending.

We’re hopeful supplies will return to normal soon. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us continue serving our community!

FUN FACT! Volunteer firefighters make up 70–80% of Mississippi’s fire service. Today, ’s Firefighter Operations class kicks off with 126 firefighters registered! Firefighter Operations is the first level of our training program, followed by Firefighter I and then Firefighter II.
