WEHS is excited to welcome Phillip and Terri James to the Patriot family!

Coach James brings nearly three decades of coaching experience, and 26 years of public school and 3 years of private school service. Fourteen of those years have been spent as a varsity head coach; seven years leading girls' programs and seven years leading boys' programs. Throughout his career, his teams have earned three Sweet Sixteen appearances and two Elite Eight appearances.

Coach James believes in developing athletes through consistent skill work, repetition, and a strong foundation in fundamentals. His goal is to help players become confident, knowledgeable athletes who can read and react to the game without relying on constant instruction. While he enjoys an up-tempo style of play, he is committed to doing whatever best positions the team for success.

Having previously spent six years at West End, he is excited and grateful for the opportunity to return, calling it a true blessing to once again be part of the West End family.

At WEHS, we take this week to thank and appreciate all of our faculty & staff members for what they do to help us provide students everything they need to succeed at school and beyond! A critical part of our daily operation is our Child Nutrition Program. We are so grateful for Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Kidd, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Tarpley. They work so hard to keep our lunchroom running as like a well oiled machine!
