We are a group of Walnut Cove business owners, workers or residents who came together to create a not-for-profit 501c(3) to promote Community Outreach Volunteer Effort. r and promote growth and with your help and generosity revitalize our town! The purpose of this Group shall be to maintain a nonprofit organization of interested persons to advance “Community Outreach Volunteer Efforts” for the Town of Walnut Cove and encourage town growth, enjoyment attending and visiting the town, and public use of Cove Square, and to cooperate, when appropriate, with other groups to improve the cultural activities of the community. This Group shall work in conjunction with The Town of Walnut Cove local businesses and the public to achieve these ends, to acquaint the community with the needs of the town, and to help improve their facilities and events. The Group shall operate in full compliance with IRS Code Section 501 (c) (3) and all General Laws. Past events have included:
*Hosting a Main Street clean-up- receiving help from local organizations.
*Trick-or-Treating on Main Street
*Christmas in the Cove & Tree Lighting
*SpringFest & FallFest, family friendly, free events with tons of vendors, food trucks, kids games, music, dancing and more!!!
*Candidates Meet & Greets
*Veterans Day Tribute
*Concerts at Cove Square
*Shop The Block Saturdays
*Barn Quilt Beautification
