The Town Of Shawangunk is now accepting bids for mowing service for town owned properties for 2026. Bid packets will be available at town hall and I can email them to you as well if you reach out.

Folks, I love hockey and would love nothing more than to be able to play hockey with my kids at the rink at Popp Park but right now it is not allowed. We are discussing option to be able to allow that among other things but for now please respect the no hockey rule!

This is an amazing asset to the town, let’s keep it nice.

Folks, support of our clubs, other organizations and town parks and recreation in place for the community includes your eyes and ears. Please let us know if you see the “no hockey” sign that is in this picture but is no longer at the ice rink we opened this week. It was torn down within the last 24 hours. It was in place to ensure the equipment in place is not damaged, not to refuse access to anyone. We appreciate the opportunity to serve our community and hope no further theft or damage takes place at this town park and public skating rink.

What a great way to start the day! Enjoying the new ice rink at Popp Park. It is a wonderful new addition to the Town Of Shawangunk! Thank you to the Wallkill Lions Club for all of their work in making this a reality. And thank you to Assemblyman Brian Maher for the grant to help reach this goal!
