SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: As of this date, Firefighter Michael Kumka has officially retired from Engine Company 202 after serving 29 years. Mike has been an asset throughout all of his years of service. He served on numerous committees and as president and vice president, always lending a helping hand in projects around the firehouse. A very dedicated member of this company, in between his getaway trips to Florida he remained one of the most active members of Engine Company 202.
Mike also served as a lieutenant and captain in the emergency squad, and was a member of the SCUBA Team. For a brief period he moved away from our borough and served as a member of the Lebanon Township Fire Department, only to return to Wallington and Engine Company 202.
Mike, we wish you and Ruthie nothing but the best in Florida, and we thank you for your dedication and service!
