Ok, June on the Trail, part 2. The Wallingford Health Department’s outdoor exercise and fitness court at Community Lake is moving along, as is the work at the Wilbur Cross Parkway bridge.

It’s June on the Trail, part 1. Today, we had plenty of flora; no visible fauna; lots of fragrance. Oh, and the birds 🐦!

NEWS for all trail users: Wallingford’s Town Engineer has provided some information about bridge repair work taking place near and affecting the QRLT near the Route 15 / Wilbur Cross Parkway overpass and pedestrian tunnel. Please see below:

* Now through November, infrequent 15-minute closures are expected as needed. The closure is expected to be limited to the pedestrian bridge right before the tunnel.
* In August, more frequent closures are expected during bridge installation.
* Flaggers will be present to inform trail users of the closures.
* The project is expected to be completed this November.
