This bill flat-out sucks. Not only would this restrict early voting, but it would kneecap anyone who wants to run as an independent or with a third party.

Candidates for President/Governor/Senator would need 3,500 signatures instead of 1,500, a 133% increase

Candidates for other state offices would now need 2,500, a 67% increase

Candidates for US House would need 1,726 instead of 375, a 360% increase

Candidates would also need to get a certain number of signatures from a certain number of counties.

Pres/Gov/Sen- 100 sig. from 19 counties each
Other state office- 77 sig. from 18 counties each
US House- 47 sig. from 1/2 of counties each

No evidence. No common sense. Unlevel the playing field.

The Iowa Senate passed a bill Tuesday that would shorten the time frame for absentee voting and create felony penalties for election misconduct.

Hello everyone. I have published a petition on We The People, and I need your help to have it's message be heard. The petition aska the White House to grant American Samoans full US citizenship, and asks that US territories be given presidential voting rights. It also asks the White House to give the territories, as well as DC, a voting member in the House. Please share!

Urgent Press Release:

I have recently learned that, unless the action is taken, the FEC will begin to punish candidates who submit fake or satirical names for presidential filings. Therefore, I am officially withdrawing from the race. We had a good run, getting as high as 10% nationally in 2015. We still had 3% in a poll last week. If you are looking for a real candidate who shares my values and will be an option for most voters, I would recommend Reform Party nominee Rocky De La Fuente. If he isn't an option, I hear Gary Johnson is available.
