Waller ISD’s CARE Team supports families through engagement events, community programs, and services for special populations, including but not limited to Military, McKinney-Vento, and Foster Care students.

Our CARE Closet is working hard at opening this fall to provide resources for our Waller ISD students! We have received donations and have MANY clothes that are in need of washing and cleaning. While we await our own washer and dryer-we are hoping to get our donated clothing in need of laundering washed. If you have any spare time or ability, we would love to have the help of our community take some of our donated clothing items to be washed. If you are available to take a load (or several), wash and dry them, and bring them back-we would LOVE your help. As we have our last school day with students today, we want to thank Bryan and Donna Lowe, and Julie Bankston for helping us to celebrate the incredible students who have helped to make our School Market possible! Last Friday, our generous donors bought donuts to help thank our WHS students. We also awarded Volunteer Awards to student leaders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout the year!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is our last School Market of the year at Daikin Stadium from 9AM-12PM.
We sure hope to see you and serve your family with groceries from the food bank!

Did you know that our School Market has fed over 7,000 households this year? The lifeblood of our market has been our students who volunteer their time. They unload the truck, serve the food, and serve as personal shoppers for each neighbor who comes through!
This Friday we are hoping to honor them and thank them for their service with donuts! If you can donate a dozen (or a few) please hold down your finger over the QR code or scan it and fill out the form!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th, is our 2nd to last School Market this year! We hope to see you, and serve you and your family from 9am-12pm at Daikin Stadium. Please share with anyone who may in need of groceries. There is no judgement, just a helping hand for our Waller family.

Our CARE Team is excited to serve our Waller ISD family tomorrow (Wednesday) at Daikin Stadium from 9AM-12PM with our Houston Food Bank School Market Partnership. We hope to see you and serve you with fresh groceries for you and your family tomorrow!

The CARE Team's Ms. Adela Cornejo was so proud to graduate the participants of HEB's Read 3 Partnership with Waller ISD this week. These students and their parents have worked so hard over the last several weeks to help further their literacy, education, and family's commitment to their future.
Congratulations to all the graduates, their families, our incredible volunteers, and Ms. Cornejo!

Just a reminder that we will be out tomorrow (RAIN OR SHINE) from 9AM-12PM (or until supplies run out) at Daikin Stadium to distribute free groceries for our Waller ISD Community. Our very own Mrs. Adela Cornejo and Dr. Dean Guerra were honored to help facilitate Waller ISD’s “Stakeholder Voice” portion of our District Needs Assessment. We love being able to help ensure every stakeholder has a voice that’s heard and a seat at the table! It was an honor to collaborate with community members, district leaders, and our school board members Mr. David Kaminski and Mr. Jeff Flukinger!
