How about a sneak peek into just ONE day of Kids College’s GeoExplorers at WWCC this summer?

Students ages 9–13 will:
🌊 Drive across a HUGE Snake River dam
🪨 Explore giant rock formations
🔍 Learn how scientists identify rocks
📏 Use real-world mapping technology
✏️ Sketch and document discoveries like real explorers
🌞 Spend the day outdoors exploring places most kids never get to visit

Students will also learn from local geologist Bob Carson during this hands-on field adventure through Eastern Washington.

Here’s a sneak peek into what’s in store for Kids College’s BioWorks at WWCC this summer!

Students ages 9–13 will:
🚁 Tour the new Life Flight helicopter base in Walla Walla
👀 See emergency helicopters, mobile medical equipment, and rescue technology up close
🩺 Learn how flight nurses and emergency teams help save lives
🔐 Work together in a Medical Escape Room to solve clues and “save a patient”
❤️ Make CPR decisions, crack medical puzzles, and test their teamwork skills

This is hands-on summer learning kids actually get excited about:

Good news! There is now glass recycling on campus. Look for the yellow bins. What’s accepted:

- Food and beverage glass containers
- Containers must be rinsed
- Lids removed (labels are okay)

Thanks to for making this happen for our community! (One MILLION pounds of glass recycled since starting in 2023, WOW!)

🤖 Designing and building underwater robots provides appealing, project-based learning activities and fulfills many of the criteria for Next Generation Science Standards. Apply what you learn to build and operate a ROV in shallow water!
