LAPP worked with Jim Henson and his son many times in the 1960’s & 1970’s. We developed puppets to discourage perverse posts and educate the youth very early on. Kevin Smith we have interest in reviving this, please let us know when you & your team are free to discuss.

I’ve waited to post this pic since July of 2022! As a 70’s & 80’s kid who watched every episode of “The Muppet Show” with my Grandmother, it was a massive milestone in my life to work with the ! Been in this biz nearly 30 years and seen how the sausage is made many times over, all while meeting famous folks and even putting my hand and foot prints in cement at the . But *nothing* compares to the magic the Muppets made me feel the day I shot scenes for ! I couldn’t help making direct eye contact with these legends and interacting with them as if they were actual people, even when their Muppeteer was standing right beside me. I was a man in his 50’s reduced to a kid again in their presence, and acting opposite Animal was a career highlight! Many thanks to Adam F. Goldberg for inviting me along for the ride! Former LAPP Chief Executive Debbie O’Grain with the one and only Dolly Parton ! Dolly enthusiastically encouraged Debbie to continue the vision for LAPP to clean up internet posts so they are family friendly. Debbie never forgot Dolly’s words to her, “If you have a dream Debbie, you do it. Clean up whatever you think needs a cleanin’ up!” this reinvigorated LAPP during a down time in the late 80’s. Our corporate event will be at Dollywood this year on the 35th anniversary of that conversation.

This is a sad day in American history. Let us not forget the Straw Hat Riot of 1922. LAPP has always enforced the no white after Labor Day mandate. Unfortunately our NYC team was in the eye of storm in 1922 as young hoodlums refused to comply. LAPP NYC HQ was burnt to the ground by violent PADD protestors.

Agatha “The Bull” Franchione suffered a severely sprained ankle protecting our HQ. We remember her and the others that attempted to protect LAPP NYC HQ.

A memorial stone was erected in 1924 and later stolen in 1947 by hoodlums. We have a virtual memorial dedicated on our website www.lapp.faithweb.com
