TODAY (9/4) ROA Speaker: “Oregon Coast Prepares for Invasion!” Following the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the Oregon Coast quickly transformed into a heavily guarded military zone driven by fear of a Japanese invasion. Join for an engaging lecture provided by Capt Gordon “Mick” McClean, USAFR, on Friday, September 4, 2026, at noon at the Walla Walla Country Club, 1390 Country Club Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362. Come learn about service animal (dog) requirements and meet our Service Animal Champions. Bring your trained service dog with you — do not bring pets, emotional support, comfort animals or service dogs in training please.

A major win for Reserve and National Guard service members and their families!

Banners honoring our brave servicemen and women will be proudly displayed beginning mid-October through mid-November throughout Downtown Walla Walla as a way for our community to express our gratitude for their service to our country and to promote civic pride.
