Congratulations to the WIS Chamber Orchestra on an incredible performance at Music in the Parks! 🎻🏆 The ensemble earned a 1st Place Superior rating, received the award for Overall Best Middle School Orchestra, and achieved the highest score out of all 22 competing groups that day. A special Board of Education meeting filled with gratitude, recognition, and new beginnings. ⭐

We proudly celebrated our senior NNDCC cadets, honored our outgoing student Board representatives while welcoming the next student leaders, recognized our dedicated district retirees for their years of service, and thanked our Superintendent for her leadership at her final Board of Education meeting before retirement.

Congratulations and best wishes to each of these individuals as they begin their next chapters. Your contributions have left a lasting impact on our school community. ❤️

Congratulations to Ava Walenjus, Maeve Donovan, and Erin McBarron. Each was recognized in the Monmouth Vicinage Law Day contests for their outstanding work on this year’s theme, “The Rule of Law and the American Dream.” Ava earned first place in the essay contest, Maeve earned second place in the essay contest, and Erin earned second place in the poetry contest. Their work thoughtfully explored how the rule of law can both support and challenge the pursuit of the American Dream
