Walkertown Fire Department is proud to partner with Forsyth Technical Community College by donating one of our fire trucks to their Fire Academy program.

This truck has provided many years of dedicated service to the Walkertown community and, during its final years in frontline service, proudly served as the first-out engine at our old Talleys Station. Since then, it has remained in reserve status.

After many discussions, we wanted to ensure this piece of apparatus would continue serving a meaningful purpose by helping train and develop the future of the fire service throughout our area. We reached out to Forsyth Technical Community College, and they determined the truck would be a valuable addition to one of their programs.

Today, we are proud to announce that Engine 125 is officially 10-42 for the final time with Walkertown Fire Department — but it still has many years of service ahead with FTCC, helping educate and prepare the next generation of firefighters.

We thank Engine 125 for its years of faithful service to our community and look forward to seeing the impact it will continue to make in the future. 🚒
