To Our Spring Garden Neighbors: Last week we had a tragedy strike our community. For the first time since 2009, someone in our beloved Walkersville area community was killed in a house fire. The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company #11 and Frederick County (MD) Fire & Rescue are looking to make sure that each of our neighbors remain safe.

Today, April 22nd, starting around 4pm, our members and career partners will be canvassing your neighborhood checking smoke alarms. This is completely voluntary of course. But, if you would like us to check your alarms and batteries, as well as position in your home, we would be happy to! Please help us spread the word. Thank you! 💙💛

APPROXIMATE ROUTE: We will attempt to have Santa visit each neighborhood but we are unable to go down every street.

The route is subject to change at anytime without notice. Parade will start at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company (79 W. Frederick St) at 1:30PM

Right onto Frederick St, right onto Rt 194, left onto Antietam Dr, right on Raleigh Rd, left onto Hickory Hill, left onto Antietam Dr, left onto Rt 194.

Left onto Adventure Ave, right on Inspiration Ave, right on Discovery Blvd, left on Stauffer Rd, left onto Rt 194.
Continue onto Rt 26, right onto Waterside Dr, right onto River Run Rd, left onto Waterside Dr Across Rt 26 onto Sebastian Blvd, right onto Derrs Square W., left onto Wheyfield Dr, right onto Latham Dr Right onto Rt 26, continue onto Rt 194 north to light at high school.

The Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company is proud to partner with the Frederick County Toys for Tots program.

Drop off new, unwrapped toys to help less fortunate children throughout Frederick County during this holiday season.

Donations can be dropped off 24/7 between NOW and December 12th to the Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company. If there is no one present to accept your gift, please leave it in the Toys for Tots bin located at the front double doors near the flagpole.

Tuesday August 5th from 6pm until 8pm! 🤩 Come out to view all of our apparatus, meet our local Troopers, and even learn more about volunteering!

Join us in the Social Hall for a night of Bingo! Doors open at 4:30 PM, selling opens at 5 PM, and games start at 7 PM.
