The Walhalla Public Library will be hosting 3 story hour sessions for students who have completed grades 3, 4, and 5 this spring. As part of celebrating our country's 250 years of Independence, the theme will be the American Revolution. Dates are as follows: July 9, 16, and 23rd from 10am- 11-am. Please join Joan Chaput for non-fiction reading, projects, and snacks.

Summer Reading Program this week got moved from the park to the library. We read a book about a dog that lost his way from his forever home. We played a couple games of BINGO. Then we ate Pizza that was donated from Waters Cafe!!!!! We want to send a huge Thank You to Waters Cafe for being so generous.

This Tuesday was a little busy. We had Jordan Thornberg read. He did a wonderful job with the kids. We also had a couple volunteers help us with our STEM Project, Troy Olson and Manny Mostad were so much help. The Moms chipped in and helped too. The younger crowd did a sticker project. We had Bread Pan Donuts after and they were delicious. I want to thank everyone that helped with our Summer Readding Program we couldn't do it without you all.

This Tuesday the 16th of June Summer Reading Program will be at the library. We will be working with a stem project for the older kids and we have a different project for the younger kids. It starts at 11:30-12:30. Hope to see you there.

Summer Reading Program was down in the park this Tuesday. The kids listened to Michelle read
Digging Dinosaur Fossils and Digging Fossils Under Water. Then the kids did their own little fossil dig. They had a blast. They ate sandwiches, watermelon and had juice, they loved the watermelon.

This Tuesday June 9th Summer Reading will be down in the Park. We have a fun project planned for the kids. It starts at 11:30 - 12:30. Hope we see a lot of kids.

Our first Summer Reading Program was fun. Joan Chaput read books about Ducks. Then we all decorated Ducks. The kids loved it. We had hotdogs, chips and juice for lunch.

Joan Chaput is going to host our Summer Reading Program tomorrow. She will be reading I Wish I had Duck Feet and The Curious Kids Book about Ducks. Hope to see you there!!!!
