The Waldport Public Library Garden Club meets today at 10 am and then this afternoon at 2pm the Friends of the Waldport Public Library host their monthly author talk!

September's hike will be at Lint Slough. Hikers will meet at the Waldport Library at 10 and can walk or car pool over. Parking is limited at the trail head so if you choose to drive we will park at the open space by the playground. It is an easy walk to the trail from there. Lint Slough Trail is 1.5 miles long, it has a 45 foot elevation gain. It is estimated to take 1/2 to 1 hour time wise. It is not a loop it is an out and back trail. The trail is uneven and there are tree roots to walk over. Wear sturdy shoes and bring walking sticks if you like. We are excited and look forward to exploring!
