WATER & SEWER BILLING
The City of Waldo would like to inform all water customers of an important update regarding your monthly water and sewer bill.
The City recently implemented an adjustment to the water rates. However, the City has determined that the sewer rate adjustment requires additional steps before it can be implemented, including a public hearing and proper publication in the newspaper as required by law.
SEWER CREDIT
Until the required public-hearing and publication process has been completed, the City will provide a credit to customers for the sewer portion of the bill that was charged under the new rate.
Customers should continue to pay their water bills as billed. Any applicable sewer credit will be reflected on the customer’s account.
The City is committed to ensuring that all rate changes are handled properly, transparently, and in accordance with applicable Arkansas law.
Additional information regarding the public hearing and any future sewer-rate changes will be provided to the public once the required process has been completed.
We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our citizens as we work to ensure accurate and proper billing.
