Raleigh Moose Family Center 501(c)(8) Non-profit organization that raises funds to clothe, house, feed and educate children

The Raleigh Moose Family Center #1318 has been in operation since July of 1918 and have been at our current location on Forestville Rd since 1977. We are part of the Moose International Fraternal Organization (http://www.mooseintl.org/) and the Loyal Order of the Moose (LOOM). The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888, with nearly 800,000 men in roughly 1,800

centers, in all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain and Bermuda. In addition to the LOOM we are also home of the Women of the Moose (WOTM) #1058, Moose Legion #69 and the Moose Riders.

We have a upcoming quarter auction and we need some large themed gift baskets donated. Put your creative minds to work and make a basket to donate for our fundraiser. Gift cards, wine, beer, lottery tickets, candy, or seasonal baskets are just some ideas. Comment your theme below and drop your finished basket off by Sunday. Thanks for your support for this quarter auction. Also, if you have new unopened items that you no longer need please consider dropping them off as well.

We want to send a congratulations out to Shawn Powers and Scott Childress on achieving Moose’s highest for recognition, the Pilgrim degree. You have to put a lot of time, years and effort into receiving this degree so be behalf of the Raleigh, Board of Directors, and all members congratulations to you both.
