22 trillion dollars.

That’s how much the national debt has grown since Tom Emmer came to Congress in January 2015.

It was just over 18 trillion dollars then.
It’s over 40 trillion dollars now.
That’s nearly 2 trillion per year.

To be fair, Emmer didn’t vote for every dollar of that increase — and he had lots of help over the years from Members in both parties in growing the debt.

But this is also true: Emmer voted (and led the charge) for the biggest debt increase ever adopted: $4.1 trillion, thanks to billionaire tax cuts and spending increases in the One Big Bill last summer. And it would have been even higher — almost $6 trillion! — without hiding the true costs behind massive cuts to Medicaid, SNAP and other benefits.

Tom Emmer says he’s concerned about skyrocketing debt. But his voting record says otherwise.

Lowering the debt: easier said than done.
Tom Emmer on debt: more said than done.

Ready for better?

59 days until Election Day.

Remember when Tom Emmer claimed the Epstein files were a “non-issue” back in July 2025?

Well, Thomas Massie just introduced another discharge petition to strengthen the Epstein Transparency Act. For something that was supposed to be irrelevant, it sure doesn’t seem to be going away.

Curious to see how that “non-issue” stance holds up now. 👀

Just another Monday for Tommy. Taking time to go on social media and make some racist dog whistles to distract from his disinterest in helping his district during an affordability crisis.

Between yesterday and today, it would appear that Emmer's re-election campaign has landed on its message for 2026.

I'm leaving out the dog-whistle photos but you can go look for yourself ... also, notice that he says "federal immigration officers" instead of ICE; even he recognizes "go get 'em ICE" doesn't play the way he thought it would.

He's pounding the table about this issue because the economy's in freefall, healthcare's a mess and the White House is more interested in finishing a ballroom than ending its war of adventure in Iran.

Emmer's betting that a majority of CD6 voters hate immigrants more than a government at war with working families.

I'm betting a majority of CD6 voters want working families to earn and save enough to live the American Dream.

You can help me win that bet.

64 days until Election Day.
