The storm may be over, but staying safe is still important. Floodwater, downed power lines, damaged roads, debris, and power outages can continue to create hazards after severe weather.
Take your time, follow instructions from local emergency officials, avoid dangerous areas, and check on your ʻOhana and neighbors, especially kūpuna and people who may need additional assistance.
Preparedness doesn’t end when the storm passes. Stay informed, stay aware, and stay safe, Hawaii 💜💚
