New ordinances signed into law Sept. 17:
Ordinance 6023 – Establishing a Food and Nutrition Security Plan to guide policy toward the goal of ensuring all Maui County residents have access to food that is affordable, nutritious and aligns with the cultural practices, beliefs and dietary preferences of the host culture.

Maui County and Fukuyama City have enjoyed a formal sister-city relationship since 2008, a relationship built on decades of exchanges in education, culture and business.
