What does it mean to shine? ✨

This October, our One Night Only Series presents Bright, an original work by local playwright, director and actor Francis Tauʻa.

Bright is an exploration of the human experience through the lens of a single light in the Universe that teaches a new light what it means to shine. Trust, heartbreak, perseverance, joy, anger, and the unending desire for connection are the bridges crossed in this tour of milestones.

"The journey of discovery that ignites the light that shines in all of us."✨

Come experience Bright - Monday, October 5 at 6:30 PM at the Historic ʻĪao Theater.

⛰️ A set inspired by the land.

For ʻAinakea, Set Designer Amanda Dellinger’s ahupuaʻa concept brings the landscape of West Maui directly onto the stage.

The silhouette of the backdrop was taken from the West Maui mountain range above the site of the former Puʻukoliʻi Village camp — the very place where our story unfolds. 🌿
