It's Mobile Pantry week again in Richland & Wilkin Counties! Here's the schedule:
On Tuesday, May 5, the Richland Wilkin Mobile Food Pantry will be at these locations:
- Fairmount, ND, at the city hall from 10 am. to noon
- Lidgerwood, ND, at the senior center from 1:30 to 3 pm.

On Wednesday, May 6, the Mobile Pantry will be at these locations:
- Rothsay, MN, at the fire hall from 10 am. to noon
- Foxhome, MN, at the Lutheran Church from 1:30 to 3 pm.

As a reminder, the May dates for the Mobile Pantry will be Tuesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 3.

As a reminder, the May dates for the Mobile Pantry will be Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6.
NOTE: We will not travel if there are road or weather issues due to the difficulty of pulling the Mobile Pantry trailer in poor conditions. Please be understanding that our Mobile Pantry is completely staffed by volunteers. If weather does interrupt our schedule, we will post notices on Facebook.

In observation of Holy Thursday, the Food Pantry will be closed Thursday evening, April 2. We will be open as scheduled the rest of the week.

- Monday, March 30, 4-6 pm.
- Tuesday, March 31, 1-3 pm.
- Wednesday, April 1, 1-3 pm.
- Thursday, April 2, 1-3 pm.

We will resume our regular hours, which includes Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm., the following week (April 6-9).

We are so honored to have been recognized at the 2025 Wahpeton Breckenridge Chamber Annual Business Meeting and Awards Luncheon on February 19, The Richland Wilkin Food Pantry was recognized as the 2025 Non-Profit of the Year and our Backpack Program received the 2025 Mark Werre Community Service Award. As part of the Mark Werre Community Service Award, the Backpack Program was awarded $500.00. What an exciting day for our organization!

We want to share the kind words of Chamber Ambassador President, Judy Commings, at the presentation: “It is truly and honor to present this year’s non-profit of the year award. This organization quietly and faithfully serves our community week after week but they do more than distribute food – they provide dignity, hope and stability to families who are walking through difficult seasons. It came and it's gone - Giving Hearts Day 2026. We are totally blown away with the generosity you have shown to our non-profit! You are the people who fund our operation! We couldn't serve the number of people that we do, without your support. All our programs, the Walk-in Wahpeton Pantry, the Mobile Pantry and the Backpack Program, benefit from your donations. Sharon, our coordinator, the Board of Directors and all our volunteers thank you for helping us fund our work of helping those who are facing food insecurity.
