WESTERN IOWA...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Red
Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Knox, Cedar, Thurston, Antelope, Pierce,
Wayne, Boone, Madison, Stanton, Cuming, Burt, Platte, Monona,
Colfax, Dodge, Washington, Butler, Saunders, and Seward
Counties.

* TIMING...From noon to 8 PM CDT Saturday.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

At 134 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Valparaiso, or 15 miles southeast of David City, moving northeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Public reported at least half dollar size hail in Dwight
with this storm.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
