Make It Click Grant Funded

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is participating in the National Make It Click high-visibility mobilization grant funded by the Department of Transportation. The enforcement will be held May 15 to May 31, 2026.

In 2023, 10,484 passenger vehicle occupants killed in crashes were not wearing seat belts. Among the young adults (18-34) passenger vehicle occupants killed in 2023, 60% were unbuckled – one of the highest percentages for all age groups.

Today marks 3 years since the disappearance of Tyler Miers from the Prague area. If you have any information that might lead to his location, please call 402-443-1000, message us on Facebook, or use the P3 app to submit a tip.

Tyler was last seen on May 20, 2023, in a field outside Prague, Nebraska near Prague Quik Stop. His pickup truck was left in Prague. A search yielded no results, and he has not been seen since.

These three dogs were picked up near Hwy 109/ CR W south of Cedar Bluffs. They are awaiting their owners at Green Acres in Wahoo. Another good reminder to have tags on your dog colars so animal's owners can be identified.
