The Wahoo and Wahoo Rural Fire District's have been place in a Open Burn Ban by the Wahoo Fire Department. With Harvest upon us and the crops continuing to dry out we are erroring on the side of caution. The Fire Chief will evaluate and lift as needed when we receive moisture. Have a Safe Harvest!

Saunders County will be participating in the Statewide Tornado Siren Test at 10am.

As you can see on the 511 app, many highways and roads are still closed in Saunders County due to both snow and downed power lines. Please do not try to drive on the closed highways and create more problems for first responders. STAY HOME!
