Well it all over. I'm so humbled and honored to serve as your Sheriff for the next four years. This was a tough campaign for Judy and I. We persevered, work hard, talked to hundreds of people and made it through a run off and a recount.

Big shout out to all my volunteers who helped hang signs in 100 degree heat, waived signs on election day.

I want recognize all of my deputies, detention officers and civilian employees. They are truly the people who make the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office a great law enforcement organization.

Many thanks to the Wagoner County election board for conducting an efficient and professional recount. The vote remained the same, no errors were confirrmed by the election board secretary. Oklahoma should be a shining beacon for the other states on how to conduct a secure election.

Special thanks to my supporters who showed up on the recount and served as "watchers" of the recount. This was a truly tedious and difficult job to observe over 8000 ballots being counted.

I'm working diligently to get all my signs picked up in the county. Thanks to all who have helped me pick up signs and deliver them to my house.

Special thanks to my wife Judy. She has had tough road to travel and has a shown a level of professionalism that is unprecidented
considering what life has thrown at her. She truly is an amazing women wh came into this county 18 years ago and brought Wagoner County to whole new level in the public safety communications. Under her leadership we had a great 911 center with safety of the citizens has her number one priority. Judy was responsible bringing a public safety grade 800 radio system for all of first responders in Wagoner County. She implemented a computer assisted dispatching, 911, enhanced 911 and 911 mapping and addressing. She was an awsome 911 Coodinator that stayed 100 % laser focused on the safety of this county. Thank you Judy for your service!

I also wish the best to Tyler Cooper and his family in their future endeavors.

Now it's back to work "Keeping Wagoner County Safe"!

This is the "unofficial results". Very close election. Your vote counts. I'm very appreciative of my supporters who endured this primary and run off. I thank God who has been walking next to Judy and I during our journey. I give all the glory to God and I'm humbled by the blessings he has bestowed on my family and this county. God shed the light of truth on this campaign, allowing the majority to believe in my abilities to be your Sheriff for another term. I pray that God continue to walk with me and guide me, and continue to shine the light of truth for all to see.

Folks this the last day, it's election day. Our fore fathers, after much discussion, left us a republic to preserve and care for. This republic is precious, and we as citizens must fight to preserve it for our children and future generations. There is no perfect form of government. Ours has it's imperfections. We have the freedom and liberties to speak our minds and opinions. I don't agree with negative campaigning and refuse to go down that road. When somebody attacks me or my character, I will endure those attacks because I have broad shoulders
I have learned over my 35 years of service as a law enforcement official, that people say things out desperation in order to attempt to control a situation or narrative. I have learned it is futile to argue with these type of people. They donot want to hear the truth.

It saddens me to see the deceitful posts, mass text messages, and campaign messages propagated by the opposition. It saddens me to see the media to continue to try to exploit a family member's tragedy in order to try to make me look bad. My children and grandchildren see and hears these lies and this is hurtful.

I believe I will be victorious at the end of this campaign. I believe each day I become wiser as a husband,
parent, grandparent, public servant and a Christian. My commitment to this community is great. I will continue to apply my expierence and wisdom to the betterment of this county and the Sheriff's Office. The past 8 years has been an honor. I look forward to another 4 years as your Sheriff. Coweta Police Department is aware of the rumors surrounding an officer-involved accident that took place on August 3, 2024. To clear up misinformation, we want to stress that neither party had any alcohol or drugs in their system. Video evidence makes it clear neither party observed the other before the collision, and the police report shows Mrs. Elliot did not commit any traffic violations and was not at fault for the accident.
