The Wagoner Literacy Group is part of the Wagoner Library Friends Corporation, a non-profit organization which exists to help improve adult literacy through various programs. The freely offered programs include basic Adult Literacy, Computer Classes, English as a Second Language (ESL), GED Preparation for all subjects and Belle Lettres. Citizenship, state Driver's License examinations while hoping to expand to provide more assistance for College Preparation.

Just to let everyone know we are still tutoring and offering all the other programs we provide Our knew location is now at Yorkshire Village Senior Apartments, located at 2200 West Wellington. Our next Meeting will be Tuesday, January 15 @ 1:00 PM at the home of John and Linda French, located @ 1005 North Story Ave. Wagoner, OK.Everyone is welcome.

Wagoner Library Friends Corp meeting will be September 20, 2016 at
1 pm at the Carnegie Library Building. Come join our meeting it is open to anyone interested in Literacy. Our dues are due now September - November and are $5.
Don't forget about the Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale at the Masonic Lodge on Friday September 23 at 5-7 pm. Cost $6

Next Wagoner Library Friends will be June 21, 2016 at the Carnegie Library Building at 102 S State Street. We meet at 1 pm, come join and have a refreshing time.

There was a Mayoral decree made today that September is Literacy Month in Wagoner! It coincides nicely with the fact that it is International Literacy Day (per UNESCO) and National Literacy Month.

Basic computer classes are being offered starting September 15th. That is a Tuesday and start time is 10:30 am. Please RSVP as seating is limited.
