What an incredible event at the Soprema Senior Center today as they celebrated their 50th Anniversary of serving seniors!! The community support at this event was incredible with the cost of all of the food and so much more donated by the Wadsworth Adults Foundation, Medina County Senior Adult Foundation, and the generosity of many Professional Friends from Wadsworth and beyond! Enjoy this drone shot courtesy of Tom Stugmyer. Stay tuned for many more pictures along with special facts about their rich history to come!!

A nice shout out from American Municipal Power, Inc. highlighting an award-winning Wadsworth project. Congratulations again to our Electric Department on this recognition.

AMP updated its Annual Awards Program, creating more ways for Members of all sizes to recognize leadership, showcase community impact and highlight system improvements. New and expanded award categories include two new System Improvement categories: Technology and Grid Resilience.

Projects like Pemberville Municipal Electric’s North Substation Replacement and City of Wadsworth - City Hall Electric Department’s William J. Lyren Substation Transformer Containment Upgrades — both 2025 System Improvement Award winners — show how utilities are advancing reliability, resiliency, operational efficiency and more.

Apply by June 26 to share your community’s story: https://www.amppartners.org/services/amp-awards-program/
