Affected areas will be White Store Rd, Rivers Dr, Anson High School Rd, Billow St, Moore St. Service should be restored around 1pm. Good afternoon water customers...water main break on Goldmine Ext in Peachland. Crews are valving water off now. Affected areas are Deep Springs Church Rd, Goldmine, Savanna Rd, and some areas of Stegall Rd. Service should be restored around 5pm. Please remain patient while crews work diligently to restore service.

Water bills are due! If payment is not received by 430pm Wednesday February 25, 2026 the account will be subject to disconnection.

Disconnection will require a additional 60.00 to get service restored, so please remit payment before.

We have several ways to pay including credit, debit, and tap in office. Alternatively, customers can pay over the phone using the automated system 1-800-898-0824. You will need your account number to pay over the phone. If you choose to use the internet, you will need your account number and pin. This information can be found on your bill. The website is www.edmundsgovpay.com/ansoncounty.

Good evening water customers!
Main line leak on Morning Drive in Lilesville. Crews are en route now. Service should be restored around 830pm. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

With a widespread hard freeze happening tonight, here are some things to keep in mind with regards to dripping faucets. The main goal is to keep water moving through your pipes, which makes it harder to freeze. A drip is often sufficient, but if you do a stream, it should be no more than the width of a tip of a pencil. DON'T run every faucet in your house. If you can, choose one that's the farthest from where water enters your house.

Also -- once you and your family are up and moving, it's probably OK to stop the drip, even if temps are below freezing. Flushing toilets, running faucets, washing dishes, washing clothes...all of that day-to-day stuff is typically sufficient to prevent issues.

Most importantly, you need to understand your particular situation. Some homes are more exposed and more vulnerable than others.

Good morning water customers...Anson County Water will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026. Payments can be made via internet and the automated phone system. Please remember to leave faucets dripping and cover exposed pipes to protect from freezing.

Good morning water customers...main line break on 74W near 7-11. Please use extreme caution traveling in the area due to cold temperatures. Crews are deploying to the area now. Water outages should be limited to customers east of the tire shop on 74. Estimated time to repair complete should be around 2pm. Please remain patient while crews work diligently to restore service.
