For years, friends and family had encouraged Rusty and Amy Sickels to take their food hobbies out of their kitchen and onto a retail shelf. This past week, the Independence couple did just that while opening Fireside Meats and Sweets in Wadena.
Located in the former Tony’s Wadena Locker, the new business is currently providing full meat locker services and will soon provide a variety of retail sales of meats, cheeses and homemade baked goods. For additional information, pick up a copy of today's Union. www.fayettecountynewspapers.com
