Join us as we take a trip to get a Taste of the Mediterranean!!

"Taste of the Mediterranean" is a program designed to educate participants about an eating and lifestyle approach that can reduce the risk of diet-related chronic diseases. The program aims to provide participants with the knowledge and behavioral skills necessary to implement the Mediterranean-style eating pattern, which promotes healthy aging and potentially decreases the risk of cognitive decline, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and cancer.

We’re excited to offer a hands-on 4-H Flower Shop Lab where youth will explore floriculture and floral design alongside one of our very own community partners, Gil Heflin of GG Flower Hut LLC!

This experience connects directly to the Texas 4-H Floriculture Curriculum, giving youth the opportunity to build skills, express creativity, and learn more about plant science in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will create their own take-home arrangement while growing confidence and exploring new interests.

This event is FREE and open to the public
Limited to 25 youth—registration required

We look forward to seeing our 4-H youth show up, learn something new, and continue growing as Beyond Ready leaders!
