Mr. Morales’ class has officially finished their Grit Board, and it was time to CELEBRATE! 🎉

What better way to celebrate grit, perseverance, and a job well done than with a little friendly competition? ✈️ Students put their creativity and engineering skills to the test to see whose paper airplane could fly the farthest!

Learning, teamwork, laughter, and a whole lot of grit made for the perfect classroom celebration! 💙🤘

Leadership in action! 💪🏽

This activity was designed to see what leadership skills would emerge as students faced fast-paced challenges and games. With limited time, groups had to organize quickly, solve unexpected problems, communicate effectively, work together under pressure, and reflect on how they could improve.

For our unit on leadership, this was a fun and meaningful way for students to put what they’ve been learning into practice. Even better, we saw leadership qualities emerge in students that aren’t always evident during normal classroom activities. It was amazing to see students step up, encourage their teammates, take initiative, and find creative solutions.

What a wonderful day of learning, teamwork, and leadership! 💙🤘
