At 346 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gaffney, moving
south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Gaffney, Pacolet, Cowpens, Blacksburg, Roebuck,
Jonesville, Pacolet Mills, Grover, and Patterson Springs.

a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Boomer to 4 miles east of

Pine. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
