The Greater Haralson Chamber was excited to celebrate the major expansion at Jellystone Park West Georgia with an official ribbon cutting on Friday, May 29th!

Community members, Chamber representatives, and local leaders gathered to officially welcome the park’s newest additions, including new water park areas, covered wagons, and quaint cabins now open for families to enjoy this summer.

This expansion is a huge opportunity for tourism growth in Haralson County, bringing even more visitors and families to our community while continuing to make our area a destination for fun and recreation.

The Greater Haralson Chamber President/ CEO Tara Chapman was honored to join the Georgia-Japan Legislative Caucus for a special site visit at Honda Development & Manufacturing of America in Tallapoosa as the company celebrates 20 years in Georgia.

During the visit, attendees learned more about Honda’s operations, commitment to domestic sourcing, and the important role their Canadian and Mexican partnerships play in keeping products affordable and accessible in the United States market.

Over the past 20 years, Honda’s Tallapoosa facility has produced more than 5 million transmissions in its 575,000-square-foot plant while continuing to support local jobs, families, and economic growth across our region.

Congratulations to Honda on 20 years in Georgia and thank you for the lasting impact you continue to make in Haralson County and beyond.
