September had some great moments in our McLennan County Justice system. MCC hosted a great talk with Federal Appellate Justice Don Willet and Judge Brantley Starr, and a few days later oral arguments for the Texas Tenth Court of Appeals. Lastly, McLennan County Republican Club hosted statewide candidates for Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Gina G Parker & David Schenck.

If you have a fulltime job, the state of Texas expects you to accommodate jury service, and we can't use that excuse.
