📬 2026 Appraisal Notices Coming Soon!

Our 2026 appraisal notices will be mailed out soon. When you receive yours, here’s a simple breakdown of what it includes:

🔎 Key parts of your notice:
• Market Value – The total estimated value of your property (land, improvements, and any applicable business personal property or minerals) as of January 1
• Appraised Value – The value after special valuations (like agricultural or wildlife use) are applied
• Exemptions – Any exemptions currently on your property (homestead, over-65, etc.)
• Taxable Value – The final value after exemptions — this is the number used to calculate your taxes

🏷️ Important to know:
• The Appraisal Review Board (ARB) only reviews the market value
• The deadline to protest is May 20, 2026
• Filing your protest online allows you to easily upload your evidence, select a hearing time with staff, and review district evidence

Wednesday, April 15, is the deadline to file your 2026 Business Personal Property Rendition. Renditions can be mailed to 315 S. 26th, Waco, TX 76710, emailed to [email protected], or hand delivered to our office using the express drop-off in the parking lot.
