There are so many incredible initiatives being done nationally at The Arc of the United States, state-wide through The Arc of Texas, and locally by chapters like us! The majority of the work we do is focused around advocacy and the Texas Advocates conference was an incredible experience for adults with IDD to gather, learn, have fun, and make meaningful change in their communities. We are so grateful for the hard work that went into this event!

Arc in the Park is official! 🙌🏼

Thanks to Keep Waco Beautiful and City of Waco - Public Information, the Arc of McLennan County Aktion Club officially adopted Viking Hills Park!

Aktion Club is the official Kiwanis Club of Waco chapter that empowers adults with disabilities to volunteer in their community through inclusive, hands-on experiences, and we’re proud to be the first chapter in Waco. 🎉

Moments like this are just one layer of the work we do every day to support adults with IDD in our community. Behind every park cleanup, every skill built, every friendship formed, there’s a member making it possible.
