Premier High School - Waco

Premier High School - Waco Tuition-free public charter school serving grades 9-12 At Premier High School, the success of our students is what matters most.

Some students need a new opportunity, while others seek an individualized educational approach that is not offered by traditional schools. Whether a student has fallen behind or simply wants to get ahead, our true learner-based environment program is designed to ensure that they learn and succeed. Premier High School’s personalized approach to learning allows students to work at their own level of

understanding and rate of learning, regardless of age or grade level. We also allow the student to control the pace of his/her learning and allow the teacher to focus on the specific needs of that individual student. Based on an initial evaluation, teachers will create a personalized academic program uniquely tailored to meet your student’s needs. Premier High School is a campus of ResponsiveEd® and is accredited with the Texas Education Agency as a public school designed to provide an effective, research-based education for our students. The learning systems models of ResponsiveEd are accredited with AdvancED™.

Dear PHS Returning Parents/Guardians:

Why Completing the Socioeconomic Information Form Matters
The Socioeconomic Information Form (SIF) is an important form that helps our school and district determine eligibility for state and federal funding that supports our students and campus.

Why Does the School Need This Information?
The information collected on the form helps support:
School Funding: Qualifies schools for funding such as Title I and state compensatory education funds. These funds help provide instructional resources, student support, teachers, and programs. ( Computers, Remediation Tools, Caluclators, additional teaching staff, and supplies)
State Accountability: Socioeconomic data helps provide accurate information used in state accountability and school performance measures.
Student Meal Programs: The information may also help determine eligibility for free or reduced-price meals and other meal program opportunities. We have grant where all of our students eat free! We would like to keep that program fro all students.

How Can This Benefit Your Family?
Depending on eligibility and district programs, completing the form may help families access:
Free or reduced-price school meals
Reduced fees for SAT, ACT, and AP exams
Assistance with college application fees
Scholarship and college-readiness opportunities
Reduced-cost internet and other community resources

How Do I Complete the Form? Directions are listed below.
Online: Complete the form through your district's parent portal, if available.
Paper Form: Complete the paper form provided by the school and return it to the front office.

Remember: Typically, one form is completed per household, and the form must be completed each school year.
Your Participation Matters!
Even if you do not believe your family qualifies for assistance, please complete the form. Every completed form helps our campus accurately identify student needs and maximize the resources available to our students.
