UPDATE: This is a cancellation to the Florida Missing Child Alert that was activated on 05/12/2026 for NOAH AND HAYLEE CHESTER, Haylee Chester. The children are safe.

🚨 PLEASE SHARE! 🚨 - A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for Noah Chester, a white male, 2 months old, 21 inches tall, 6 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, who was last seen wearing a light green striped onesie and Haylee Chester, a white female, 17 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes, who was last seen carrying a black backpack. Haylee has a piercing on the right side of her nose and a tattoo of Chinese symbols on her right forearm. She may go by the name "Shyla". The children were last seen in the area of the 1100th block of Rehwinkel Road in Crawfordville, Florida. The children may be in the company of Justin Conley, a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 220 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes. Justin has a tattoo of Chinese symbols on the right and left side of his neck. They may be traveling in a 2017, gray GMC Yukon, Arkansas tag number AVA22T. The vehicle has a round sticker with white lettering in the center of the back windshield. Due to an ongoing investigation, this case has been upgraded to a Missing Child Alert. If located, DO NOT APPROACH. Contact law enforcement immediately. If you have any information on the whereabouts of these children please contact the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office at 850-745-7100 or 911.

👉 2:44 PM - Dismissal update: Buses have departed campus and students are now headed home. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support as we worked to ensure a safe dismissal for all students and staff.

Please be advised that dismissal today will be slightly delayed due to inclement weather conditions. We will notify parents once buses depart to provide a better estimate of the delay.

Parent pick-up students will be released as soon as conditions are clear and safe to do so.

As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Big Bend Hospice is preparing to host a shake drive to support our patients in Jefferson County, and would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word!

BBH is collecting nutrition shakes such as Ensure, Boost, and similar items to help support patients who may have difficulty maintaining proper nutrition.

Donations will be accepted from May 11, 2026, through June 11, 2026, at the Big Bend Hospice Jefferson County Office in Monticello, (Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) and Jefferson County Fire Rescue.
