The Wabeno Town Hall got a little facelift !
Several years ago, our previous Town Clerk, Nancy Schuhart, along with Lynn Shaffer, painted the building dark green and added the peach shutters.
Their hard work lasted a lot of years. But sadly the shutters were falling apart and it was time to do a little updating on the paint , until we can afford to do the updates that are really needed.

We still have a few touch ups to do and to paint the doors and trim- but we love how it looks and had to share.

-Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
-Experience in administration and supervision
-Ability to perform essential functions of this position
-Ability to possess a firearm
-Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
-Clear and concise speech
-Valid Driver's license
-Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
-Good driving record
-Good physical condition
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
-No domestic abuse convictions
-No felony convictions
-React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
-U.S. citizen
-Vision correctable to 20/20

Education Requirements:
-High school diploma
-60 college credits / Associate's Degree

Additional Education Information:
-Have earned 60 college credits or an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or is able to obtain 60 college credits within the first five years of employment, and is eligible to be certified per State of Wisconsin standards; have successfully completed Wisconsin certified recruit training or will complete recruit training prior to appointment, or presently be certified as a law enforcement officer by the State of Wisconsin.

Our HAPPY 250th BIRTHDAY / ANNIVERSARY AMERICA fence is starting to take shape!
Thank you Wabeno Chamber for starting the festivities!

Lets fill this fence before the Legion LET’S HONOR Parade on June 13 !!!

Our Ballpark Committee would like to invite area organizations/bona fide clubs , businesses and town entities to join us in decorating our fence by the downtown ball field (next to highway 32)
to celebrate America’s 250th!

Stop in by the town clerk for section assignments and rules.

*All Banners & Decorations should be professional quality that will last most of the summertime
